Conservatives have 'already lost' if they don't 'enter the debate'

Dr Donnelly spoke to Sky News about cancel culture and its impact today.

ACU Senior Research Fellow Dr Kevin Donnelly says his "concern" is that unless conservatives "enter the public square," enter the debate and get involved in the battle of ideas, then "we've already lost".

Speaking with Dr Donnelly, Sky News host Rita Panahi said there are "conservative governments who don't want to have the battle of ideas".

"The ideological culture wars," she said.

"We've seen Scott Morrison, for example, be very clear that that's not a priority for him".
